Howdy! We woke up on Sunday morning to a hot air balloon floating right next to our campsite. It was pretty fun to see them land close by and how they take the balloon down. We went to another dinosaur trail nearby and got to see fossils embedded in rocks. We made our way down to New Mexico yesterday and landed in Bloomfield. This morning was our first morning of “school” in the camper. The kids wrote in their journals, did some math, and reading while Dad did some work. Today, we made it to Sante Fe. We have not done audio books with the kids before and they are loving them. We are currently listening to “Diary of a Wimpy Kid.” It is entertaining for us all. We are spending 2 nights in a hotel and we couldn’t be more excited. Real showers, real beds, and a pool! We did some swimming and laundry today. Rye found us a dog friendly brewery that gave Hank his own dog bowl, the beer was good, too. We finished out the day at “Mariscos Costa Azul,” mexican restaurant. Their specialty was mexican seafood and it was delicious!
